A practice built around

making the first step easier.

Therapy, made easier to start.

The Healing Hour is an online therapy practice in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania for people who know they could use support but haven’t had the time, energy, or roadmap to go find it.

How we got here

The Healing Hour started as one therapist: Jacklin Aydin, LPC, seeing clients under her own name, who was dedicated to make getting help as easy as possible.

As more people found their way to her, she brought on therapists who shared her approach. Today we’re a team of 60+ licensed therapists. The idea hasn’t changed: getting help shouldn’t be the hardest part of getting help.

What that looks like

  • We check your insurance for you. It’s free and happens before your first session, so you know what you’ll pay up front.
  • You may not have to wait. Get scheduled within 48 hours.
  • Sessions available in Spanish and English.
  • A real team, not a directory. Every therapist here is a curated part of our practice. You’re not scrolling through a list of strangers and hoping for the best.

Who we work with

Many of our clients are women carrying a lot: work, family, and everyone else’s needs. They’re running low and wondering whether it’s “bad enough” for therapy. You don’t need to be in crisis to deserve support. Feeling stretched thin is reason enough.

Not sure where to start?

Start with the free insurance check. It takes 2 minutes, and we’ll take it from there.

Qualifications

Every therapist at The Healing Hour is licensed, with a master’s degree or doctorate and supervised clinical training. Here’s what the letters after their names mean:

  • LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor): Trained in talk therapy for anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions.

  • LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist): Focused on relationships, whether you come alone, as a couple, or as a family.

  • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker): Trained to look at the whole picture, including how work, family, and life pressures affect your mental health.

  • LCADC (Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor): Specialized in substance use and recovery.

  • LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor): Trained in counseling for a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns.

  • DSW or PhD in Social Work: Doctoral-level training in clinical social work.

  • PsyD or PhD in Clinical Psychology: Doctoral-level psychologists with advanced training in assessment and therapy.

Not sure which is right for you? You don’t need to figure that out. Tell us what’s going on, and we’ll help point you toward a good fit.
